PRO LIFE: What you intend(-ed) (?) is NOT what you get

The report issued by the "Journal Obstetrics and Gynecology“ states: " .. in the absence of war, natural disaster, or severe economic upheaval .. " these numbers are difficult to explain. Only to go on to talk about how the Texas legislature might have a not so small part in those rising numbers:
The state legislature cut $73.6m from the state’s family planning budget of $111.5m. The two-thirds cut forced more than 80 family planning clinics to shut down across the state. In those years where the number of patients treated was cut in half the number of " .. free birth control, cancer screenings and well-woman exams .. " dropped to half of what it used to be before that cut.

I'm inclined to add: If these people - religious or not - who propagate what they call "Pro Life Actions" were reasonable and self-critical, would open their eyes to reality .... they would bashfully turn back home, cry about lost lives and be ashamed for what they have done.
