A few years ago I went to Britain on a vacation and brought back a t-shirt with the lines:

"If ignorance is bliss
- why aren't more people happy?

Today I was surfing through the "Free Thought Blogs" and found this precious jewel, it's about 'ignorance', too:

I don’t know how the flowers bloom
Or how the spring rains fall
I don’t know how the seasons change
I don’t know much at all
..
I don’t know why the tides come in
Or why the tides go out
I don’t know if there is a plan
Or what it’s all about
..
There’s lots of stuff I do not know
And though it may seem odd
Let’s please not call it ignorance—
I’d rather call it God.

[source; better: where I got it from ...]

Now, this little verse abvove is just part of the whole thing, but I didn't want to honor this crap by reciting it in full - it's not necessary, because the omitted lines just add other things the author doesn't know.
Sad enough up to here, I'd say.

This is why I do call it "ignorance" to just "..call it God.." - and that's it.

Instead of writing poems about what one doesn't know in my opinion it would be better to go and start studying a few subjects that can explain "the un-known" ....

But I suppose true believers don't want to know how things really are, they just want to 'believe', nothing else. Next time I'm wearing the t-shirt I'll be better prepared to answer why I bought it in the first place ....
