THEY DO IT ...!

Haven't we all thought about this before, dismissed our doubts and trusted that at least the police will behave according to the law?

Now there is evidence that our wildest dreams were nothing - compared to what actually happens:

Police officers across the country are using confidential law-enforcement databases to spy and acquire information on “romantic partners, business associates, neighbors, journalists and others for reasons that have nothing to do with daily police work,” an investigation by The Associated Press revealed.

“In the most egregious cases,” AP says, “officers have used information to stalk or harass, or have tampered with or sold records they obtained .. "

"Nothing to hide" - that was the past, now one can't be sure about any data gathered by the big corporations.

Apple gives away whatever they have on their customers to law enforcement, the whole five nine yards, not just what police are asking for .... it's about time people educate themselves about personal privacy stolen wherever big chunks of data are available.
